Lets see know I have to think about what movies I saw in 2010: "Alice in Wonderland", "Twilight: Eclipse", and "Toy Story 3".
My favorite movie of 2010: "Toy Story 3". I went and saw "Toy Story 3" on my birthday, June 22nd, just 5 days after the movie was released in theaters. I went out and bought the movie as soon as it was released in its Blue Ray, DVD, and Digital Copy combo pack. What makes "Toy Story 3" so good is that it makes me feel like a kid again whenever I watch it. And the fact that it is arguably better than the first two films. First of all its animation is much improved over the last two films with the advancement of technology. Another reason it was really good was the story, I think it was a really good ending to a trilogy, or perhaps a good beginning to another film? Many people complain how Disney's Pixar waited too long to make the third film, well I beg to differ. It was really good timing because it allowed Pixar to make many award winning animation films between the first movie and the third and it brought in an older audience that grew up watching the first "Toy Story" film.
I have many favorite movies: "The Dark Knight", "Toy Story Trilogy", "Gangs of New York", "Boys N The Hood", "A Bug's Life", "The Godfather Trilogy", "Chinatown", and "Bonnie and Clyde".
My favorite movie, or movies. Is the "Lord of the Rings Trilogy" ("Fellowship of the Ring", "Two Towers", and "Return of the King"). To be honest I can not select one of the movies to choose which one is my favorite because I consider them to be all one movie as they were intended to be. J.R.R. Tolkien wrote the books as if they were one book just split into three smaller books because of the length, and that is how the movies were intended to be. Why do I like the trilogy? Well these are among of a few of the films that sparked my interest into the film industry. I enjoy the actors chosen to portray the characters, the musical score, the special effects, and the changes it made from the books. This coming from someone who read all the books.
You have a large variety of favorites and all good selections. Love the trilogy!!!
ReplyDeleteI chose Toy Story 3 too! It was such a great movie.
ReplyDeleteAnd Boyz N The Hood is one of my favorite movies of all time!
I love at the end when doughboy says "either they dont know, dont show, or dont care about whats going on in the hood..." and it goes on, but yeah. IDK why thats my favorite part, but it is hah
I like all the movies you mention except your all-time favorites (which I haven't seen because I haven't read the book).
